1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BrandingCV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Merchant of Record (Paddle.com)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Liability

BrandingCV utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning models to identify and redact Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from resumes and CVs.

  • As-Is Provision: Due to the probabilistic nature of AI, we do not guarantee that 100% of PII will be successfully identified or redacted. The Service is provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
  • Human Review Required: You agree that the Service is an assistive tool. You are legally obligated to manually review and verify all redacted outputs before distributing, publishing, or relying upon them.
  • Limitation of Liability: BrandingCV, including its founders and affiliates, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including GDPR, CCPA, or EEOC fines) resulting from missed redactions, hallucinations, or formatting errors.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
  • Submit unauthorized sensitive data, protected health information (PHI), or classified documents.
  • Automate, scrape, or perform denial-of-service attacks against our API infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of BrandingCV. You retain full ownership of the documents you upload. We do not claim copyright over your inputs or the redacted outputs.
